# Resilience Training

> Service Training ensures resilience programmes are expertly delivered, driving team alignment, stakeholder buy-in, and a stronger organisational resilience culture.

*This content is available in full at: https://www.fixinc.io/service/resilience-training*

Resilience Training builds internal capability by equipping teams with the skills needed for crisis response, risk management, and resilience planning. Through expert-led sessions, employees gain hands-on experience to confidently handle disruptions.

To support organisations in achieving true resilience, Fixinc provides 2 Resilience Training Disciplines that, if validated annually, ensure true resilience. Each discipline can be adopted individually but in most cases will form the majority of a Resilience Training programme.

When organisations first engage Fixinc, the team reviews the progress of each discipline to determine current capability.

## Training Disciplines

### Team-based Plan Walkthrough

Plans mean nothing if the team reading them does not see themselves in it. This module walks through roles, responsibilities, and expectations, connecting strategy to action for every individual in the room.

## Delivery Approach

Fixinc's Resilience Training offering provides an opportunity to outsource the training and engagement of any programme, plan, or initiative. The team of Advisors will study the asset or area requiring training and provide a tailored, organisation-specific session. Sessions can be delivered in person or virtually and can focus on either industry standard outputs or specific areas requiring support.

The value in outsourcing training often allows teams to share more personal feedback, removes hierarchy bias, and allows industry experts to answer complex questions with confidence.

Fixinc approaches Resilience Training by simplifying processes, returning to first principles, and standardising programmes so anyone at any time can adopt how organisations plan and respond to disruption. When engaging in a Resilience Training programme with Fixinc Advisors, organisations embark on a partnership that is a collaborative effort held together by strong and reliable communication.

## The Tungsten Diamond

When assessing the maturity of Resilience Training, measurement occurs against the Tungsten Diamond model. This diagram maps the full corporate resilience spectrum from compliance and planning through to real-time response and technology.

The Advisory Board supports end response, while the Directory and Resilience Services provide ongoing access to tools, insights, and partnerships needed to strengthen planning. Organisations working with Fixinc are covered entirely across the resilience spectrum.

## Frequently Asked Questions

**How do you ensure leadership teams are prepared for a crisis?**

Training and validation is the single best way to confidently confirm response teams are prepared for any disruption. Fixinc uses a mixture of ISO 22301 standards, best-practice modules, and a unique executive crisis framework to ensure individuals are prepared to the highest level.

**How do organisations begin working with Fixinc?**

The process starts with an initial consultation to understand needs and objectives through a 45-minute discovery call. This is followed by a digital proposal outlining recommended services, approach, timeframes, and investment required. A detailed project plan is then developed based on agreed priorities. Once signed, an engagement meeting is conducted within a 4-week window, and the programme begins.

**How do you ensure programme adoption across the organisation?**

Fixinc uses a combination of engagement strategies including stakeholder workshops, training sessions, communication campaigns, and practical exercises to build awareness and capability across all levels. At a more general level, relationships are built with key team members through email campaigns, one-on-one meetings, and connecting over LinkedIn. This builds trust and typically uncovers issues or ideas from more introverted colleagues.

**Do you provide ongoing support after the programme is implemented?**

Yes, and this is the core service offering outcome. Fixinc seeks to build lifelong partnerships with individuals and organisations. This approach allows deep integration into organisational fabric and threat landscape, builds relationships where support is always available, and holds Fixinc accountable to ensure resilience capability continuously grows.

**What makes Fixinc different from other resilience solutions?**

The simplicity of programmes is the primary differentiator. Many organisations are led to believe that the threat landscape is evolving at an unprecedented rate, but this only creates fear through marketing. Fixinc believes resilience can be a simple, modern skill developed through building a culture of resilience and removing the noise of bulky plans and poor technology.

**How long does it typically take to implement a comprehensive resilience programme?**

Implementation timeframes vary based on organisation size and complexity, typically ranging from 6-9 months. A detailed project plan with milestones is provided, and implementation can be phased to address priority areas first. The team are considered industry experts in project management and implementation. The quickest programme rollout was 4.5 weeks.

**How does Fixinc customise resilience programmes for different industries?**

Fixinc tailors programmes based on industry-specific risks, regulatory requirements, and business goals through detailed assessments and expert consultations. Utilising hundreds of millions of threat intelligence data sets through technology partnerships, tailored programmes can be created for each organisation in any industry.

**What information is needed to get started?**

Initially, understanding of current resilience capabilities, regulatory obligations, key risks, and strategic objectives is required. A detailed information request is provided once scope of engagement is agreed via the client portal.

**How are service costs determined?**

Pricing is based on the scope of services required, organisation size, and complexity of requirements. All activities start from a base investment that can be shared. Detailed proposals with clear deliverables are provided, and engagements can be structured to align with budget constraints. Typically, the client base has an annual business continuity budget of $45,000 or an entire resilience programme of between $55,000 and $100,000.

**How do services help organisations become more resilient?**

The comprehensive suite of services helps organisations prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruptions through integrated approaches to emergency management, crisis management, IT disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. These align with international standards and local regulatory requirements. At its core, programmes and support get into the heart of culture and continuously identify ways to simplify how organisations plan and respond to threats.

**How long does it take for a programme to be rolled out?**

The team focuses heavily on streamlined project management processes, utilising proprietary technology to create implementation plans that make every step seamless. External factors like getting teams involved with meetings may impact time, but techniques exist to speed this up. Typically, a single programme can take between 5 weeks and 3 months.

**What ROI can organisations expect from implementing these programmes?**

While ROI varies, organisations typically see benefits through reduced impact of disruptions, improved stakeholder confidence, competitive advantage, and reduced insurance premiums. Case studies demonstrating value realisation are available.

**What types of organisations do you typically work with?**

Fixinc specialises in serving medium to large-sized organisations across New Zealand, Australia, and Malaysia in both public and private sectors. Clients include financial institutions, government agencies, healthcare providers, and major corporations.

- [Industries](https://docs.fixinc.io/industries.md): View all industries serviced

**How much does a typical programme cost?**

In most cases, programmes start from $10,000 AUD. However, reviews are as little as a few thousand. After establishing a scope of work and requirements, an initial quote can be provided within the same day of enquiry. As Fixinc believes in long-term partnerships, budget constraints can be worked around.
