Your recovery process is only as strong as its weakest part. This module tests individual ITDR components, from backup systems to restoration protocols, so nothing fails when everything is on the line.

## How Fixinc Delivers ITDR Component Testing

The service follows a four-step approach aligned with the Plan-Do-Check-Act methodology:

1. **Plan**: Agile, first-principles planning ensures a smooth rollout of your refreshed program
2. **Do**: ITDR Component Testing is rolled out smoothly at your organisation
3. **Check**: Your ITDR Component Testing is draft until validated, we will fix that
4. **Act**: Your team and ours will be ready when your ITDR Component Testing is activated in real-life

## Service Description

Fixinc helps you run targeted tests on individual disaster recovery components, such as data backups, failover scripts, restoration processes, and third-party dependencies. Each test is structured with clear objectives, preconditions, execution steps, and pass/fail outcomes. This allows your team to isolate technical weaknesses before they become operational risks.

Component-level failures are the reason most full DR tests fall apart. Fixinc brings technical expertise to ensure each system, process, or vendor element is tested in isolation, then re-integrated into your broader recovery plan. These tests are built to be repeatable, low-disruption, and fully documented for audit and improvement purposes.

## Engagement Process

### Initial Consultation

- A link will be sent via email from the Advisory team with options to schedule a call at your convenience via phone, Teams, Zoom, or in person

- Proposal and quote delivered within 24 hours detailing the scope of work
- One week later, discussion of the proposal followed by a final quote for signing
- If not signed within five weeks, Fixinc will assume timing is not suitable

### Delivery Phases

**Review and Health Check**: All ITDR Component Testing implementations start with a deep review of what is already in place. Benchmarks are set based on best practice and ISO standards.

**Design and Develop**: With appropriate involvement from your team, Fixinc builds out the ITDR Component Testing component of your ITDR program to the highest quality available.

**Validate**: Where appropriate, Fixinc tests and validates your new ITDR Component Testing discipline. This provides tangible evidence of capability and maturity to your stakeholders.
